working full time is going pretty well. it's something i am going to have to get used to. i feel like i'm developing a certain confidence at my jobs. i'm overqualified for both jobs, so i suppose that helps. it's good to be out of the house and useful, and i'm not really missing most things. i see my mother the perfect amount now, so we get along. i like it when ava is very busy looking at one of her books, carefully turning the pages and staring at the words and pictures, and then i realize it's upside down.

i just read an article about george w. bush, then i looked at the picture accompanying it and i realized that he's our president. what the hell is going on????

this rainy weather is making me yearn for autumn. its cold winds, big scarves, tall mochas, and joni mitchells.
