Homework Break
I recently found some old comic pages of mine in my hard drive. I'm not sure it rekindled my desire to draw more, per se, because I'm sure I thought about it at least once before finding them; but it certainly hasn't relieved me of the temptation. However, there are several issues with this...

Grad school
I'm a week and a half in and already I'm resigned to two years of relentless, brain-breaking work. Mainly reading, analysis, and repetition-to-memorize. That's not to say I don't love it. I actually thought "FML."
There is some weird emotional thing going on with me today that I don't understand. Life has been AMAZING since I got back to school and yet for most of the day I've been depressed and irritable -- often on the verge of tears. Hm. No money, no inspiration, no friends within a 60-mile radius.
It could be worse.

Projects!
I've decided I will not be trapped in Spring Hill in vain!
For startses, I have several BAGS full of yarn, fabric, and patterns for awesome stuff.
I also have four promising books and a Rock Bottom pile of three when I get through those.

Melon Bread -- I want to try this!
Ingredients:
Bread dough
• 1 2/3 cup all purpose flour
• 2 tsp dry yeast
• 3.2 tbs butter
• 2 tbs sugar
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ cup warm water
• 1 egg
Topping cookie dough
• 1 cup all purpose flour
• ½ tsp baking powder
• 6 ½ tbsp butter
• ¼ cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tbs sugar
Directions:

What's more, I spent all day working almost non-stop on these two papers, and it's infuriating how little I actually have written on them. Yeah, I now have all the information and notes I could ever want to write them, but still. I wanted 7.5 pages today. All told, I have one.
