A couple tales of the Mary
Yesterday I went to Japanese class and was accosted by Mashav-sensei outside the door.
"Mary," she said (in Japanese, of course), "did I become cupid for you?"
For a second my brain couldn't make sense of her "kyupiido," but when I'd established that she was talking about James and gave my "uh...hai?" she stuck her hand out and congratulated me.

I'm knitting a lion's mane.
But as I know nothing more than basic knit/pearl, it's going to start out as a really skinny scarf which we will then glue into the right shape on the Japan Club banner ( Read more... ) -
Not feeling it today.
No creativity, no motivation whatsoever. Can't bring myself to write hardly a word on Lavender or Echo of the Whirlwind. In fact other than refreshing facebook and google every five minutes all I've done is go to look up one little fact on the Inferno and get distracted by Alighieri's biography for an hour.

I kind of realized I've barely posted a thing since getting to Japan. What on earth shall become of my autobiography?! DX

No particular reason for it, just stumbled on the facebook group Miranda made for him again. It made me think about some goals I'd almost lost sight of these past few years. But now I have so many new goals... I'm sure he'd be proud of me just for doing my best.
