You did a great job on making it angsty, Alfred seriously needed a hug in this fic. Arthur's death scene was so sad! And the ending was unexpected but so satisfying ;w;

Hrm I'm glad you enjoyed it. I guess I left the ending kind of... open-ended in case I wanted to explore this world some more. I'm studying Great Britain's history quite intensely at the moment for course work and the dissolution of the United Kingdom is something that's been behind-the-scenes since WWII... it's all so fascinating. I loved Arthur's death scene. I felt bad for Alfred there. And then the angst. Oh good god, the angst. Angst has always been a weak spot of mine and you really did a great job on it.
