Watching this show makes me wonder where all these good writers have been and why they weren't making 'toons during the 80s that were this good. I finally got a hold of the 3 latest episodes and the writing in each is just--well, I think it's amazing. Witty, fun, and it doesn't pander to the idea that 'cartoons are for kids'.

Ok, I don't know how many of you are watching the current run of anime, but I finally went an' picked up the first ep of Speed Grapher.

All I can say is... wtf??

"Girls on Film"? Gonzo's going weeeeeeeeird for this one. Looks interesting, though, so I'll add it to the lineup... for now.

Maaya isn't going to be doing any signings during AX; she's very (deeply) uncomfortable with doing anything like that. So it seems she'll be signing about 200 pictures beforehand and those will be given out...

It occurs to me that I haven't really used my Livejournal in some time in any meaningful way.
