going down epiloguebijou16June 29 2007, 04:58:28 UTC
hi shieldmaid1, i just loved this story and i am so sorry to see it go. thank you for finishing it and giving us a happy ending for the boys. i loved the exchange of rings and the i love yous and ennis wanting jack to make love to him. i loved this part: He allowed his head to hang down, his heart pounding and his breath thundering in and out, until he felt Ennis’s hand on his cheek. He looked up, and saw the other man’s eyes full and shining, warm with love as he caressed the side of Jack’s face. just beautiful, the whole thing. i hope you are going to write more. teresa
This line particularly touched me; Finally Ennis whispered, “Thank you. I can’t never say it enough, but . . . thank you.” I always thought that was what Ennis was trying to say when he said "Jack, I swear". It was beautiful to imagine those words spoken at the end of a ripping story like yours. Thanks for sharing it! Love Kate

Gulp.
God, Jen, just those few words from Ennis sum up how he really feels for Jack. I loved this epilogue, sneaking into their lives and seeing how they're getting on..and it seems as if they're doing ok, more than ok even. Loved the exchange of rings, the love making on the water, it was perfect. *sigh*
I'm going to miss this story so much, but I've loved being part of it. Thank you.
