Only in Japan, can someone else NOT pick up a bag of ice from the Campus Health Center for you (because the Health Center won't give it to them). Then when you go to pick up the bag of ice yourself, you get grilled on exactly what happened to cause injury, then make you fill out paperwork before giving you said bag of ice. I'm having a wonderful time in Japan, and I love Kyoto (to the point where I would have been glad to spend a year here instead of a semester had that been possible).
So why do I miss China so much? -

Miscellaneous updates since I've been so busy I haven't had the time and energy to post much lately.
It was a lot of fun to have kumoru come to visit 2 weeks ago. The weather rained all day, but it was still nice to hang out and do some sight seeing. It was also kind of fun to be the "local" amongst her and her classmates, and exchange some stories ( Read more... )
