Horses need thumbs
Yesterday our stallion got his leg caught in a fence line and injured himself. Not only did he destroy the fence but he totally scalped his foot which needed immediate medical attention. I really appreciate all the well wishes from you guys! My dad is doing much better and the doctors were actually surprised how well he fared given the nature of the heart attack. One of his veins was 100% blocked. They didn't tell me which one, but any heart-related venous return that is blocked is generally really bad. He got himself a stint and ( Read more... ) -
Family emergency
Sometime Friday night my dad suffered a major heart attack. I've made a long overdue phone call to see how things are going. He has a stint placed and is in recovery. He's stable, but really we don't know his prognosis yet. -
A look back on times past
Man. I spent all night tonight looking at my old journals and some of the crazy stuff I've been through the past several years. So we made it back home. LOL not just now, though. We've been back for about a week. We went to Waco and actually got the RV fixed! Hooray! Leaving Texas
So the time has come to say our goodbyes and head home. Good times were had. The children were noisy, misbehaved, energetic little monsters but at the same time they were sweet and I had fun entertaining them.
