I got a job!!! I am now employed as a PCA (personal care assistant) with Visiting Angels. I will be going into the homes of the elderly and performing ADLs with them, and keeping them company. I passed the first part of med-surg!!!!!!!! I got an 82 on the final!!!!!! I get to go back to clinical after spring break!!!!!

So far my schedule for next semester looks like I'll have research methods for nursing and modern dance III on Mondays, maternity/pediatrics theory on Thursdays, and clinical on Tues/Weds, or Sat/Sun. Not bad, if I do say so myself.

AHHHHHHH!!! I am so stressed out. In less then 48 hours I will be taking my final for med-surg 312. I need to get a 72 to pass the course with a 74 (which is passing in the school of nursing's standards). I have been studying non-stop since last week, and I hope it all pays off. I'm tired of being sick. I've been on two types of antibiotics and nothing has worked.  hope I don't mono again, or something just as worse. If I do that means I can't be in the hospital for probably 2 weeks, and I start clinical next Tuesday. Blehhhh.

I spent $200 on four books yesterday. Ridiculous!

The library was shut down today for a week due to the fact that the state department believes it is structurally unsafe because it was built on unsolid ground and is going to fall down the bumpy hill it was built on.

One of my professors for theory of fundamentals of nursing looks just like Betty White, and acts exactly like Rose. This would be cute if she was an english teacher or something, but not when my future relies on this woman's knowledge of nursing.

I'm coming home this weekend because I need to finish packing the rest of my stuff ... ehh.
