On that note.
Remember when I thought that there was only a 1.5mb internet connection at Buddy's house? It was because of the slow available data throughput speed at the time. It would sometimes peak at 1.5mb but most of the time it was .25mb or slower. As soon as your computer was unplugged it shot up to a solid 3mb. So on average, your computer was taking up about 75% of the connection. I am telling you this because it is a telltale sign that your computer is possibly host to malicious software and is a botnet node. I am just saying this because I am concerned for your computer. If you haven't already, you should download and run Malwarebytes Scanner and run it.

We use the internet far more than the phone! We have a dedicated handheld device for e-mail (yay Peek!) and yet we only have a very cheap prepaid mobile phone and a landline for incoming calls and local outgoing calls.
