Thesis nearing completion. Expected return to the world in spring. Everything's looking really good.

Balance: the grocery stores here close at like 7 pm, but the hot tubs and saunas stay open until 10.

Went to a show last night that was part of an annual Icelandic music festival they have here in town. People had been telling me about this particular venue where the show was held and how great it was for live music, but it stunk. It was a country/folky show in a scenester bar on a Friday night.
