• GOAL: These are my goals and points as I was writing, though I'm not sure if these are conveyed nicely in my fic -__-
1. To mention everyone in the fic. One of my most beloved parts of KHR is how everyone has a greater role in the series. (Example: go, go, Irie Shouichi!) So I'd like to mention everyone at least once. Hurhur.
2. I wanted to increase Tsuna's awareness progressively. Like, he's a bit apathetic at first and just going through the motions and nuances of daily life. Then, he becomes more appreciative of his friends when he meets Gokudera and Yamamoto. Then, he finds it both easy and terrifying to talk to Hibari-san. So it's more like, the first parts are more dazed!Tsuna who is disbelieving of the things he does (hence the smaller details) and the further parts are more of a resolved!Tsuna who is not that sure of what he's really supposed to do, but he is more aware of his wants and his feelings and he is more in-tune with the everyday ongoings 8D
3. Hibari being a mix of offhandedness yet genuine care, if only because he thinks Tsuna is the best challenge for his skill. Hibari is compatible with a lot of people -because he is a zero as well- (partners in order of decreasing compatibility: Mukuro, Kusakabe, Dino, Reborn, Yamamoto and Chrome) but he is only really interested in Tsuna.
4. A canon+AU remix :D So, there'll be elements of canon working in and blending with the AU.
5. Tsuna realizing that an anomaly like him -and Hibari-san- have a place in this world after all. Hibari doesn't care about being different, and Tsuna learns that confidence in himself is the way to go LOL
That's all. Whut, such a long dissertation. Hopefully I'd be able to hit all the points correctly as I type! :D
• Sequel
I really didn't know how to end this thing, but I ended up ending it without doing the middle parts yet LOL The sequel will definitely come, because I don't think I can fulfill my Goal #1 in this oneshot; and I haven't gone into the details of Hibari-san's attribute; and I haven't really explained why is Tsuna a zero and what is it's significance (though it's kinda easy to guess orz); and this fic totally needed romance and it didn't have much and OMG AM I FOR REAL. I THINK THIS IS MY FIRST FIC WITHOUT A KISS. OR SOMETHING, WHAT…!
