I spaz out less with time and medication. (Started anti-depressants in June 2006.) Since I tend to get overwhelmed by too many people at once, I make it a point to walk to/from Laurel's school when I volunteer so I have quiet alone time both ways.

I have waist-length hair and only wash it every other day because it is a pain. My hair grows fast and I cut it up to my shoulders every 2-3 years, meeting my want for low-maintenance hair and Vogon's desire for me to have long hair.

When I got out of the nut hut (spent a week in a psych facility getting meds worked out), I started with making daily goals, then couple-day and weekly goals. I've plateaued at monthly goals, but it's still an improvement over where I started.

so maybe prison is where I live now? because when I go home to Buffalo and try to pick-up some groceries... I end up having a panic attack in the stores because there are way too many people in some huge hurry... going nowhere..

keep talking about it.. knowing it, pointing to it, and trying to manage it is the only way to eventually bypass it. *hugs the spazz*

*why* won't you go for a walk at night? no permission? not comfortable being out of the house in the evening? maybe try bringing someone with you? roommate, cat... anyone? distraction from the 'reasons' might help...

taking the day off today, so I'll be grocery shopping (with the other 2 people in the whole City shopping... much better for me).. and then puttering about the house...
