Zax is easily Sephiroth's closest friend. Not that it means much, he's not the type to let people get close, but it's there. He doesn't know how it happened, really. Something about Zax caught his attention. Sephiroth trusts him much more than he does anyone else, and doesn't like the fact that he's caught clonebrat attention.
He's going to be sort of twitchy around Zax now, depending on how deep Zax went into the game, there's going to be a lot of discussion on Sephiroth's past. Frankly, this is about as afraid as Sephiroth's going to get.
Seth is... Seth is strange. Sephiroth still doesn't know what to make of him. He feels sorry for the kid, in a way, but recognizes that Seth really doesn't need the pity. Which is good, since Seph doesn't have much in the way of that. He does feel guilty about constantly shoving him onto the back burner.
User amuses him. She's not yet a friend, in his opinion, but fun to be around. Sometimes. He'd feel pity for the entire clonebrat kidnapping thing, but anything she feels is covered. He may or may not be able to sense it, I'm not sure, but if he does, it won't change his opinion of her.
He does appreciate the fact that she's one of the few who don't blatantly worship him. That's several points in her favor.
She'd probably tell him to save his pity for those more deserving in any case. Or failing that, he can express it by turning Kadaj into a grease spot on the wall.
And if she were in a particularly playful mood, she might make vague reference to sneaking the occasional peek when she thinks he isn't paying attention, even though she knows she doesn't have a snowball's chance in Hell with him. He could take some small comfort in the fact that he is by far not the only one to get said sneak peeks if he liked.
Sephiroth will happily skewer Kadaj again. The clonebrat's everything he doesn't want to be, and is a constant reminder of that. He's insane, has no control, and is a follower of JENOVA. There's not much to say there. He would have ignored Kadaj for the most part, if the youngest would quit antagonizing him, and attacking his friends.
And a clone of him. He hasn't questioned that too closely, but if he does, bad things will happen.
Before the entire mess, Cloud was almost like Zax, one of Sephiroth's few friends. He saw the boy's potential, and originally came to Sages asking for advice on whether or not to pull some strings and drag Cloud into SOLDIER that way.
The game didn't really change that. But the clonebrats did. Sephiroth pities Cloud for what he now knows, and also distrusts him for it. His mental state, in Sephiroth's opinion, isn't very good. He really doesn't trust Cloud to be alone with him. That's part of the reason he didn't give Cloud the game, he felt it'd make the kid snap.
It's a miracle he hasn't snapped already, having met Chibi-Sephiroth, been hit on by Ambiguous Sephiroth and seeing Female Sephiroth (At which point you could not see him leave the Nexus so fast for all the dust cloud).
Although playing Poke The Mini-Sephiroth was fun, but that's probably best not mentioned.
Well, he's in better shape than Sephiroth, mentally at least. The guy's walking a fine line between sanity and insanity, and events aren't pushing him to the side that doesn't involve burning down villages.
About Lucrecia... Sephiroth really doesn't know. He knows who she is, but he feels kind of betrayed by her, what with being experimented on while still inside of her. He hasn't spent enough time with her to pick up a real opinion of HER, just of what he knows she's done. And he knows better than to judge a person soley by a few actions.

He'd actually be rather embarrassed at that idea, and would promptly up the security at his house. Paranoid? You bet.

I apologize for the fact that once Kadaj gets himself back together he'll likely return to attempting to provoke Sephiroth.
