So this year is our second year of doing thanksgiving.
Earlier this year, my mother in law (Lisa) gave me a turkey that her work gave her last year. I was prepared to use it... thaw it, check it for freezer burn and make sure (well, get Jake to make sure) it smells ok. But I discovered two things today.

My innards are gurgling like crazy right now. Have been since dinner, more than an hour ago. It's the beef. I don't think I'd eaten beef since... probably the last time.
