Living with bed bugs
So, after over a year being infestation free (so far as I know) I have found yet another bed bug. Very occasionally I have found 1 bug randomly but we live in a building that has them and I have never found evidence of more than one at a time. A popular blog site went down yesterday. Not this one... another one. It makes me think both that I should back up my dear old LJ, but also how refreshing it would be to wisk away all those words in a single keystroke. Creators and Destroyers, all of us. It's A Wonderful Life
This weekend the frontman of one of my favourite bands, Sparklehorse, ended his life. It's hard for me to hear, because his music got me through some tough times and I admired his talent so much. His music captured so well the fragile wonder of life, and I had hoped to see him perform him one day.

Beekeeper
I'm at home now. Been crying on and off for a couple of hours. Today I got word that my beloved Beekeeper Tiberius Cat had to be put down due to advanced liver disease or possible liver cancer. I always regretted leaving him behind when I moved here and always missed him. I'll still miss him and remember his fuzzy antics fondly.
