Ten months! Amazing, isn't it? I say it every month, and I'll say it again... wasn't it just yesterday that they handed Keira to me for the first time? And yet, I can totally believe she's ten months old because, well, she's huge!

Keira had a fairly rough day yesterday, and was certainly not the happiest of campers at lunchtime. Angie and I both expected that she would fall asleep again after I left (she had just woken up when I arrived), but apparently she wouldn't go to sleep until just five minutes before I picked her up at the end of the day. Last week, Mike's Grandpa Russette passed away. While he and Mike were not related by blood, he was still Mike's grandfather in every way. Yesterday was his funeral, and both of us were lucky enough to be able to set aside our jobs for the day so we could attend. Nine months ago today, Mike and I were in a recovery room, getting to know our new baby girl while I waited for the feeling to return to my legs (c-section). She had our hearts from the beginning, and she still does. :)
