We had to put Cow-Cow to sleep today.  He was very old, and went from being a big fatty like the picture, to skin and bones in like four months.  Something wrong with his kidneys and thyroid gland.  Poor thing couldn't even sit down proper.  He was miserable, and I'm glad I did the right thing in the end.......still, it hurts......

Day 5 of this little goober hanging around trapped in my basement.  He won't leave, and I haven't been able to coax him out either.  I think he likes it here.  Shelter, heat, safety from predators (my 3 cats have no idea he's there), no competition, plus free food from sappy humans, I wouldn't leave either.  So he's just chillin down there right ( Read more... )
