I had to crack up tonight while babysitting. The kids are my boss' sister's kids~an almost 4 year old, an almost 2 year old, and a 5 month old. YEAH. And the middle child, Sophia, is freaking hell on wheels. She knows how to undo the deadbolts on the doors, how to turn the stove on, how to operate the child-safety latches on the kitchen cabinets. Saw my doctor today~she'd really awesome, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I remembered it being. They drew a lot of blood (well, 4 vials, but I HATE needles and blood) and she's gonna check some hormone levels, titers for vaccinations I've had (since I haven't had any in a long time and might need boosters) and check for hypothyroidism since I had ( Read more... ) -

I've been reading a lot of trashy romance novels lately-mainly because there are a lot for free or cheap on kindle and I linked my local library account to it so I get ebooks from the library. I grew up reading them-from like fifth grade into the early years of high school until I started reading more serious books. And maybe because I was so young ( Read more... ) -

So we had a chemical pregnancy in October and decided to just go ahead and keep trying because we were really disappointed that it didn't stick. Christmas went well. Had a good, only slightly awkward visit with the inlaws.
