My little accident!

Just thought I'd explain why I haven't been around for a while! I am recovering from my skiing accident! This is the first time I've really been able to get to my computer and actually do some typing. I was on my ski holiday in Italy when this out of control guy ploughed into me at about 50 mph and threw me what seemed like 30 feet in the air! ( Read more... )

Thanks Prim. I am starting to feel much better in myself now that I can sort of get back to more of a normal life at home!

*soft hugs* Hope you feel better soon. Hope the ribs heal quickly. I am glad that you were very lucky that you weren't hurt worse.

Thanks for your hugs Wyepeep. I'm told that my ribs will take the longest to heal as there's not much they can do with them! The pain killers help! I am lucky that I wasnt hurt worse. There were a lot of accidents that week I think mainly because of lack of snow and the ground being so hard to land on if you fell. I saw two people being airlifted the hospital on my first day on the slopes so I realised it wasn't going to be the easiest of ski holidays!!
