1. Attended Shalom Sankofa (Jewish & Black) Tour of the Hill District (with yummy cookies)

2. Volunteered at Family House (similar to Ronald McDonald House but for patients and families of any age) distributing clean linens & checking to make sure rooms are ready for new guests

I recently got a Little Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh. She's 12 and has the same first name as the Little Sister that I had in Cleveland! She's very polite, & I look forward to getting to know her.

Thanks for sending healthy vibes my way! After resting, tea, & soup, I'm feeling better, & I went to work today. I visited one of my hospice patients tonight, and we watched the Pirate game & saw the first Pirate homerun ever against Roger Clemens; go Freddy Sanchez!

I'm feeling flu-ish. Anyone have any suggestions? I had toast for breakfast and had to cancel giving platelets & meeting a friend for lunch. I'm gonna try to take a nap.
