i'm so proud of you, sindhu. i'm really glad you did so well at state and i anticipate you'll do well in upcoming tourneys . you're awesome, sindhu :)

you know, whenever I read yours or geoff's LJ about a tournament, I always feel a bit guilty because you guys work so hard and for me, Speech is like a game. I know I don't take it seriously, but then again, I've never had a fun time at a tournament, well that is till this one. The night before State, I was determined to quit S&D, I mean, I know I'm a bad member, but I still try to get some tournaments in. But on the bus ride home afterward, I changed my mind. I'll still be a bad member, I can't fool myself into thinking I'll work as hard as others before me, but after seeing us all get so close after trying so hard, it made me want to do better. I guess this paragraph was pointless, but I'm still amazed at how hard you work. You may be younger than me, but you've got a plan, a goal, more importantly, a drive for that goal and just so you know, I look up to you for that integrity and motivation.

your not a "bad" member of speech and debate, you worked hard and did really well. thers ALWAYS next year too.
