While watching that match and how it progressed, I was sure it would serve to only worsen your football mood.

But you're totally right - the referee was really unreasonable first with the card, and then with overseeing the Ghanaians' foul play against the Australian team later on.

I was really impressed with Australia though--they fared incredibly well even with just ten members on the field.

Haha, yeah. It was highly irritating, but I was proud that they kept it even for the rest of the match. :D

Still, we won our last match! Not enough to get us through, but I'm satisfied with having won at least one, and having played a game without any red cards given out. :P

I don't know which team to go for now. Did Japan make it through? Maybe I'll go for them now. Or maybe England. That poor goalie missing the ball in the match against USA. I feel so bad for him, hehe.

I myself have no favourites for this World Cup. I watch it for the lulz and for the game now, and every now and then while watching I just start rooting for a team or another because it's fun.

The awesomeness of that Soul/Maka icon of yours never ceases to amaze me and fascinate me into staring.

That sounds like a good way to watch it. Only thing is that it doesn't really inspire me to stay up 'til two or get up at four in order to watch games, which is what we have to do over here. D: Well, I s'pose I can watch replays.
