On Wednesday night I woke up and puked my brains out. It continued through Thursday afternoon. She took good care of me and made me feel better about heaving bile everywhere. Then on Saturday night we both fell victim to the flu. It sucked. Fevers and headaches and aches and pains and bleh. -

I'm not sure where to begin but the last few days have been entirely different from anything I've ever known. It's a world of security and completion and maintaining the highest level of closeness that science will allow. But it's not science. Science can't explain any of what I'm feeling. I'm free-falling. Falling freely. I'm bound but free. -

Things are changing so intensely and I have nothing to complain about. I seem to be on a constant quest for improvement and conveniently enough, so much has worked out perfectly and unexpectedly in recent weeks. Weather's been great. Lots of Dolores days. Lots of beer in Dolores. Lots of photographs and skipping school and stuff like that. It's stupendous. -

I've been terribly busy as of late and it's still really nice. Being worn out sucks, but there's a shady satisfaction attached to it. Tomorrow will mark two weeks at Naia. I like working there but it can be terribly boring and the hours can drag, even on four-hour shifts. Today I was there for over seven hours, though, and I got home by 1AM. It was ( Read more... ) -

I have a new job. I work in the staph infection center of the United States, the Castro. For unfamiliar readers: the mecca of gay [male] culture. Film crews have been on site for a few weeks because the street is getting a makeover for the filming of "Milk," the Harvey Milk biopic ( Read more... )
