Those of you who have been around for a while know that I have a serious depression issue. I'm a workaholic and a college student and a person with a lot of things to be thankful for. If the family situation is conducive to open communication, it might help to talk about the importance of keeping guns locked away -- which is a good idea anyhow. I don't own any, I don't have a problem with them, but I did learn a bunch of the basic rules. #1 is that your gun is your responsibility, you must ALWAYS be in control of it.

it's a long way down when you take a peek.
and then the thought "all it would take..."
i have a hard enough time trying to live.
i keep distance from that part of myself.
as well as the means to help that part if i would so choose.
