You portray the heartbreak and sadness of this situation very well. I feel sad for the main character. There's something about the voice or style in your writing that's so strong.

Thank you very much =]. I didn't really know I was going to write it. I just planned on doing a little writing and my dishwasher wash on in the kitchen so I figured ok. I usually try to start with a concrete noise/smell/feeling I can describe and then slowly figure out where I am going with it.
