It's time for another shoneenclub contest! ARE YOU READY? :D
First, before we get into the details, I'd like to say that everyone should be on the lookout in October for a separate contest we'll announce that's not centered on fic or art. But for those of you who look forward to the FICTION/FANART stuff, we're giving you advance notice - here's your theme (and BE SURE TO READ THE RULES - there are some changes this time around)!
PROMPT: Write a fic or create a fanart piece set either in the past or in the future. Nothing in the present day/time will do. How can you interpret this? One of a few ways, but only these ways, so please read carefully.
HISTORICAL AU: An example of this would be... Nino is a 1920's gangster, Sho is the cop who wants to take him down for bootlegging. Or... Nino is a geisha. Sho is a noble in King Louis XIV's court. Whatever strikes your fancy - go for it!
ARASHI'S PAST: An example of this would be... Sho and Nino struggle to adjust to life after debut. Sho and Nino's hijinks on the set of Yamada Taro. The rule for this is nothing set in 2010. Anything else is fair game.
FUTURE AU: An example of this would be... Sho is a garbage man and Nino is the cyborg he finds in someone's trash. Nino and Sho are still in Arashi, but Arashi of 3010, where every concert must be held in space. Use your imaginations~
ARASHI'S FUTURE: An example of this would be... Nino quits the band to become a film director and Sho cries into his pillow every night. Or Sho and Nino get married and become the faces of gay marriage for Japan hoorah~ It's up to you!

REQUIREMENTS (FICTION):
✿ 500 Words Minimum
✿ Rating: Anywhere from PG to NC-17 is acceptable.
✿ Please read prompt information above about AU. No drama-based this contest (sorry!)
✿ ANY GENRE. But please keep in mind stories MUST be centered around Nino and Sho - friendship or romance. If not, you will be disqualified - use your best judgment.
✿ CONTESTANTS MAY ONLY SUBMIT 1 FIC THIS CONTEST. Make it your best!
If you worry about interpretation of a prompt, simply comment, PM, or send an email!
REQUIREMENTS (FANART):
❀ Tell a "story" through one or more pictures. Meaning - pictures that are simply portraits are not allowed - try and have something extra to offer!
❀ See prompts for AU info. Drama-based not allowed this contest (sorry!).
❀ Can be sketches, paintings, a comic, manipulations, wallpapers, or a series of AT LEAST FIVE icons - be creative with graphics!
❀ Briefly describe the scene (Example: "Sho and Nino go on a date and this is the moment they kiss!") for mod's use in submission info.
❀ PROMPT AND RATINGS: SAME AS FICTION CONTEST ABOVE.
Additional, more specific, and personalized prompts can be given to anyone struggling in either contest. Simply email the address (found below) with a request for help.
IMPORTANT RULES TO REMEMBER: ANY FICS OR FANART POSTED IN OTHER COMMUNITIES BEFORE THE CONTEST IS COMPLETED WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. ANY FICS MISSING HTML FORMATTING WILL BE ASKED TO BE RESUBMITTED OR WILL BE POSTED WITHOUT FORMATTING IN PLACE. Just check with the mods! Rule of thumb. ♥

✿ Must be received by October 20th, 2010 (earlier submissions are welcome *wink wink nudge nudge*) by 11:59 PM USA EST.
