So today is my last day at home.  I'm not a crying person, so I didn't think I'd cry, but now I don't know.  My Grandma called me just now, to say goodbye, and as she was talking I got all teared up, so I was glad she didn't talk long otherwise I wouldn't have been able to talk at all.  I feel that if I start crying, then I won't be able to stop, ( Read more... )

Somehow I've managed to get into the beta testing of livejournal. Anyone else get it, or am I the only one? My other lj account doesn't even have the new fancy navigation bar. I rather enjoy it.

These days, everything is a bit strange. Call it the lull before, well, not the storm exactly, but at least the non-lull. I've finished doing nearly everything I need to do, so now it's mostly just waiting. Not that I'm sitting around doing nothing. So, I'm enjoying the relative quiet of my house while my parents are in Europe (I say relative because my cat can get pretty loud just before supper time). I went to the doctor, and asked for a note (for insurance) to get a massage, and he gave me a note for FOUR!!! I love insurance, and taking advantage of it. I have to go at least one more time so that I actually pay it off.

I went galloping on horseback this Sunday - SO much fun!!! I've wanted to do it my whole life. I even got to race with other horses.. woo. Then this morning I woke up and all my back and shoulder muscles were screaming at me.
