A little kit that grows all strange and crazy coloured crystals when you add a secret magic potion. It is also something that I really should be too old to be playing with!
Well, at least that piece of paper sounds impressive. That means you could actually make your own magic garden and I bet it would whip the arse of this thing. Me, I just sit here muttering 'Oooohhh, pretty colours', whilst wondering how much of the stuff I have filled my lungs with when asleep.
On further reflection, I guess it is quite impressive :) I have an idea of what I should put into a crystal garden, but I'm not sure it could out-do the one my father had... I think there is a photo somewhere in one of the albums. Hmm, I'll have to dig it out now!
I love these things! I had a little Magic Christmas Tree when I was younger*. It was small and cheap and flimsy and be-yoo-tee-ful.
Is there any water left in the bottom? You could try adding a little more and the crystals might grow some more. Or, it could all collapse in a soggy mess.
Note to self for next time - create magic wonders such as this in a room where they can be easily disposed of without giving myself a possible respiratory disorder.

Stupid waste of time! 4 years of my life, and all I got was a lousy bit of paper!

Pfooompf!
I have now destroyed the whole thing and it appears to be raining pink crystal dust all over my bedroom.
