Woke up at 5:30 so I could shower and eat and leave by 6:30 for Detroit. Driving and everything was fine, except I forgot my sun glasses so the morning sun was a bitch. Today was my step-grandma's 80th birthday. We wanted to surprise her by having dessert at my house with all the family already there for her and also letting her talk to and see Alex via Skype.
