I get the dagger as reassurance for my safety and the staser is only capable of stunning and for the same reason. Both have been given to me by Omega and I promised not to use them to harm others on the ship., unless, in case of the staser, for self defence.
And as he is my fiancé, I can assure that I would not break that promise lightly. And I don't think attacking whatever is invading this ship would do that. Besides, I aimed at what is usually a non-vital region, anyway.

Why do you perceive it as an attack?
And... even so, those weapons are more than are provided to most inmates, and the provision of such by someone you are so... closely involved with is surely a conflict of interests between his official position and his relationship with you. So it should not have been done. Did any of your wardens know about this?
The apparitions or your question? In the latter case, I do not. I simply want to be through.
And I don't see how it is an conflict of interest, and yes, Miss Tyler knew of the staser and I only acquired the dagger a few days ago, and no, I do not currently have a warden. Besides, this place deprives of my powers, weakens and disturbs my senses. Normally I would be able to disintegrate someone with simply the power of my mind; or shatter theirs. That, in a place like this, I would want reassurance of not being defenceless is only normal. Especially since I could easily get weapons elsewhere but have chosen not to do so.
Also, inmates frequently get inmates and their old powers. I see not why I should be left defenceless simply because I don't have a warden. Especially since I have only attacked someone on board once, months ago, and that consisted of punching him a few times, not stabbing or shooting or anything of the like.
I would recommend keeping your communicator on your person at all times, in case someone attacks you. A post would probably reach more people than shouting.
