Why won't it let me pick a different icon?
So I ended up getting a Wii. Fun times.
I'm getting mighty tired of the lady that lives next door. I have tried to be super nice to her, she's disabled (in one of those motorized wheelchairs, talks like maybe she's had a stroke), but I don't think I'm going to be nice anymore.

I got to be on the radio!
A lady from CBC Radio here in Ottawa posted on a thread I'd made on my anime club's video game forums, looking for gamers to chat about the new console releases this weekend. I volunteered, and she seemed impressed by my knowledge, so I got to go on the air and chat/answer questions with another girl from the club, and another guy ( Read more... ) -

Puzzle pirates
I've been trying to forget the horrors of my last week by playing Puzzle Pirates. Won't you join me? Its a super fun game (kinda an mmo-ish), where you play as a pirate and get to do all kinds of fun piratey duties, but in the form of fun puzzles and games. Addicting fun ( Read more... ) -

Marc just woke me up to tell me that Steve Irwin's dead. I'm so unbelievably sad about the news, and I've been crying for about 20 minutes now over it. I suppose some would think its sad to cry over some celebrity I'd never even met, but I'd say he was the closest I'd had to a hero or inspiration in my life.
