Regarding the whole sex thing. I was the same way.

My friends were so reckless about it, and by seeing them act in that manner made me want to abstain from it even more. I believe sex is a sacred thing, especially the first time. You should really care about that person. Having sex too soon, before you're ready can be detrimental.
