Thanks for the reality check. It's true. Check out Jeremiah 29:11 --

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

That verse has really helped me get back in touch with what I need to remember all the time: God's in charge, not me. And He knows exactly what He's doing. Unlike me.

So I'm trying hard to keep that in mind as I survey my options. Rrrgh.

Lucy, this is the best college post I have read yet. You yourself, knowing this about your future shows that you are mature enough to accept what you get/don't get. I really appreciate that. You will do well anywhere, I'm sure.
