your gonna be deleting almost the whole list of people than... since most just are here to see all the gorgeous people who post here. but i guess you have to do what you will.

its really sad its had to come to this they've now done this shit to me my friends and now my neice and i have no clue how they got it cause it was a friends only post and journal

They use the Scripts to get them. The scripts just look for new picture file types. They can also be written to find them for specific journals. They don't need friend access, they just need to find the info in the LJ database. The only real solution is to not post pics. Its shitty that its the only way to really stop them, but other then that is to stop remote linking to your host. I'm sure there are a few more advanced methods, but I'm not an HTML guru and know of only those options.

this makes me very sad. i only dont post pics, cause, well, im ugly...lol....and dont really have any as a result. i cant help but wonder if there isnt a legal recorse against the picture theives? i know it would be difficult to identify them, but its got to be illegal.

Considering the last one posted about tim involves a minor child and associating said child with a person presumed to be more than her uncle whom has an interest in such things as the communities tim might be in I would hope so. If LJ alone didn't so something about this it would indeed look bad on LJ considering the pictures were accessed from the forums of a presumed "user only" account.

Once again, you don't have to post pics of your face or genitals if you don't want. Eyes, fingers, toes, whatever else is acceptable. There's a reason we're called show_your_bits

I hope this doesn't mean that people who look and don't post will just be outright deleted.

I look a lot becasue there are some really good pictures here, and some of the folks look really good. I hope you aren't deleteing people just because they don't post thgier pictures. I make comments, and I've never made a negative one toward anyone in here, but I've neevr posted a picture.

Well, I'm taking alot more than whether or not people post into consideration. Interests, bio, date created, how many comments the person has made... Everything. I'm trying to do this as fairly as possible, but I'm afraid that there will probably be some people deleted that don't need to be. *shrugs* There's only so much I can do, and I'm doing my best.
