My old laptop started going out on me. Since it was about 5 years old, I decided to buy a new one. WOW! I can;t believe the difference in display quality. I can read this screen considerably better than the old laptop. That is very important to me because of my vision problems. We had a wonderful Christmas in New York. We saw the Rockettes, took a romantic cariage ride through Central Park, and we made our way to the observation deck of the Empire State Building.
The only thing that outshined the previously mentione was the warm and loving way I was treated by my nate's family. :-)

We had a wonderful time at Happy Buddha last night with JT and Angel / Cat. Everyone ordered a different dish but ordered wisely.
It was an awesome dinner with some good newfound friends on my part.
I truly hope to meet them again.

KathrisHali and I started our herb garden yesterday with some basil and oregano. We use quite a bit of basil these days, and it gets costly buying it fresh at the store. Hopefully, we will soon have many more, because fresh herbs are so much better than dried.

Good news! We have found a new kitty to share our home with. We both instantly knew this was the one after looking at the available cats at the shelter. She just cried out to us to be taken home. We have to wait till Tuesday to pick her up so the vet can fix and immunize her, but we got to play with our new kitty for a while. :) I have named her ( Read more... )

Having a mate is a very nice thing, but having a mate that can read your feelings and mood well enough to do something wonderful is beautiful and rare. I am a very happy kitty right now, thanks to the one I love. 
