delusion is a strong word: perhaps disillusion fits better. because he still loved me i somehow felt that we were together in a way. cosmically i felt that we were standing together and that at some point we would grab eachother's hands and just move forward in time and space ( Read more... )

as i stood inside of myself, i looked for the light, but could not see it. so i walked toward the cliff, and looking out into the abyss that used to be my garden, i realized that it had been paved over: a parking lot in place of the daisies and lettuce. i settled for the safety of others instead of the comfort of myself.

we should rip up that parking lot you've got there and plant a seed. or a dozen seeds. or a million seeds, just to see you green and lively again. (made myself cry)
