I was looking at stuff relating to today's DISMAL Englandbattingcollapse, and discovered that Curtly Ambrose and Ritchie Richardson are in a reggae band together now called The Big Bad Dread and the Baldhead" -how did I not know this before?! Has everyone else known this for years ( Read more... )

haha, excellent. I was watching cricket with my dad on Wednesday and wondered if Curtley was a bad name to give a child.

I once played for a cricket side that reached 21-8 (declared) chasing 140 off of 20 overs. I have a certain fondness for the EBC.

I did know they were in a band. Apparently they played on the cruise ship which follows the England team around the Caribbean.

The band is called something else now, because one of its members (The Big Bad Dread, I think) has gone into politics.
