So, I haven't posted one of these in a while. Summer's been alright. I've mostly worked, but I've also gone stargazing, swimming, caving, climbing, and exploring. I've had so much fun with friends, but I've had to say goodbye to friends too. Several of my friends have left the country. So, I forgot how much I love my job! I sing and dance every day that I work. We have a great crew, we get work done, but laugh and make fun of each other while doing it. Most customers are friendly. And I get free ice cream and tips. And even though I don't get home till almost 1am I love working closing shifts. There's always so much going on. ( Read more... )

I went to the Junior Humanities final projects tonight. I saw so many of my old high school friends. It's so weird to think 2 years ago we all were doing the same projects. Ever feel close, yet far away? Like you're almost within reach of something, but your arms aren't quite long enough? Have you ever just wished time could pass quickly? Here I am waiting again and I pray that I learned the lesson God taught me last time I had to wait. Things come in God's timing, and sometimes patience is nessicary.

I'm home! It's so good to be back. My mom and I flew in from Palm Springs today and my dad was there waiting. It was good to give him a hug again. There were a few changes to my house. I got home and my room was totally changed around. No couch... instead a computer desk. A new closet- that has shelves that won't fall off the wall! hmm... I'm ( Read more... )

This morning, (yesterday, I guess...time difference) I said goodbye to everyone in NZ (Miss ya'll!) and I got on a plane headed for LA. It went as well as any 11 hour trip goes... it was long.
