Hahahaha, instead of reading the book, I'm just reading the thoughts people post and piecing it together from there. I think I'm set for reading DH fic now, haha. Oh gosh, have you seen the boom of AS/S fic? I'm looking forward to how authors deal with the next-gen. XDD
OMG. I could never do that. I hate spoilers with a burning passion. XD; Hahaaha.
YES. AS/S amuses me so freaking much. Hahahaa. I love how everyone latched onto it as one of the only good things to come out of the epilogue. *snicker*
I took a peek at the HP page @ ff.net and I already saw super!cliché next-gen fic between Rose Weasley and Scorpious Malfoy. Ahahaha. LJ obviously has the better stuff. =P
After getting spoiled with Sirius' death, nothing could've fazed me.
Can you tell me exactly what it says about AS and S? I mean, I know their names are dropped, but do they get any screen time at all?
*shudders* For every good fic there's at least 10 horrible ones. At least. I could be grossly underestimating.
Hahahaha, did you read the review in the Edmonton Journal? Oh gosh, compared to some of the reviews I've read on LJ, it's so, so...it has, like, no criticism pretty much. Kinda empty.
Oh man. That would have to be the worst thing to get spoiled on. Hell, a part of me is still in denial that Sirius died. Hahahaa
Well, from what we get his brother James (who we can infer is a year older) teases Al (Both Harry and James call him Al, so it's safe to say that's his nickname) quite a bit. Al's worried about getting sorted into Slytherin but Harry pulls him aside and tells him that he's named after two Hogwarts headmasters and that Snape was probably the bravest man he knew... and that Al could choose where he goes (kind of like how Harry did when he was sorted).
And the only thing that they really say about Scorpius is "The new boy resembled Draco as much as Albus resembled Harry." He's pretty much just mentioned in passing as they describe how Draco looks (and Ron telling his daughter that she needs to beat Scorpius in classes) ...There's so much stuff people can make up. Hahahaa
...I think you should always expect the worst. You are grossly underestimating. J/K hahaha
