I started around 10:30, just typing up everything that I'd scratched out in paper over the week and mass-editing. I love this poetry class. It's held in the lounge of the English department, which is basically a room full of couches with a fridge, a sink, a kettle. There are 10 of us. Ten students in a class! Seriously, this summer was amazing. Treeplanting really changed me, made me see beauty amid burning, bug-bitten, swollen, raw misery. Something about survival.
