Sean and I spent today at Bobbie and Tony's. It was a good time and we got to play and amazingly complicated Cuthulu board game. We theorize that the game's meta purpose was to actually cause us to lose a little sanity with all the rules. But it was a good time. I braided the girls' hair and assembled a matchbox car race track for Anthony.

it sounds like you were playing arkham horror! Vito has that game, and a few expansions as well. I forbid him from reading the rules cause he always manages to find the ones that will screw us over at that exact moment

Ironically, as I read that, my first thought was "oh, it must have ben arkham horror..."

if you liked that, try betrayal at the house on the hill. It has a very "Horror" feel to it. Pretty nifty. (BTW if you do, there is a rules errata on the companies site for it that makes the rules more easily to comprehend).
