Oh Madame Bovarreeyyyy.
I recently had to do a presentation on 'the social opportunities available for women in Madame Bovary.' It's sort of obvious that there weren't many. However, the only book in the library which referenced it was 'Female Perversions,' oddly enough. It let me know that Flaubert constantly sniffed a woman's slipper when writing it. My housemate Dawn just gave me this awesome link to Future Me, which is basically a site in which you're able to compose an email to your future self, which won't be delivered until a certain date/month/year. I have decided that this blog is no longer a shameful under-the-mattress log of my unrequited loves and failed literary attempts. So! I have Friends Only-ed the more personal entries, and from now it's simply going to be about me and the books that are in or near my house.

Full speed and funky beat!
I am bored out of my mind and it's only been two days. I have a lot of reading to catch up on but it's been so long since I've read for pleasure that I would feel that I had to steam through as many as I can and that would feel like Work.
