Jamie Shen, our posts are TWINS, haha. We spend so much time together I think our minds are melding into one Super Fashionable Godly Brain!
I posted in h_f and newestwrinkle, mmm.
Anyhow you are such an intensely fabulous friend and I couldn't ask for anybody better. You are completely beautiful inside and out, and anyone shallow enough only to see your race is not even worthy of your time. I know I can't make it any better, but I can give you a hug and eat chocolate with you. Things hurt, girl. I'm sorry you, the most fabulous person I know, has to deal with it.

I don't know how anyone could ever get eyelid surgery, along with any other surgery. I think you are who you are, and you're beautiful. Everyone has a different appearence and that shapes your own beauty. Being a certain ethnicity is who you are on the outside and it describes you're apperance, I think having little eyes makes a person unique and different, in a good way. I mean I have tiny eyes and sometimes I hate them and people say I have no eyelids but that's part of my apperance. I think you're a beautiful asian =) try not to let it hurt you, even though you cant help it, love ya girl.
And we really need to hang out, pronto.

such a hard time finding beauty in

sad then angry i guess. but you have
such a beautiful soul, girl, and it's
the people like you that keep me strongg.
we really do! loveloelvoe

I don’t know how anyone can say such hurtful things to you. Jamie you are BEAUTIFUL!! I know this is cliché but "Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent." but Eleanor Roosevelt was one smart lady and I know you are too and you will be able to get though this all. People are dumb and don’t think their words will have any impact on anyone. Don’t let people tell you things that are hurtful even if they are your parents. You know you deserve so much better.

I am so sorry you had to be subjected to such awful, ignorant comments. It's such a horrible thing to deal with someone attacking you based on your ethnicity- fortunately, I haven't had it happen to me in a long time; unfortunately, my first experience with it was when I was small. Still, I don't think I could react to it any differently today than I did when I was 5.. maybe even more dramatically so. I've always found it odd that depending on the situation people only seem to percieve one half of my ethnicity. I guess it's too much of a concept for some people to wrap their minds around the fact that I am very much both.

i feel you, i started getting made fun when i was in first grade,
i had never realized that race was a "bad thing" to other people
and i thought it was for the longest time, and it's so sad that
at such a young age, kids have to go through that bullshit. it
makes me so frustrated because i live in the suburbs and my little sister
tells me what people say to her and it just makes me so sad.
if you don't mind me asking, what's you ethnicity?
i honestly think that there is nothing more beautiful than diversity

It's really one of the saddest things, when kids go home crying because someone made fun of their eyes, or their skin, or their accent.

Diversity is a wonderful thing. It makes my heart thrill when I see it.

Oh, and I'm Korean and Irish. And maybe Dutch. And hopefully everything else there is to be. :)

You are very beautiful and should be proud of your ethnicity no matter what certain people say. I'm sorry that some shitbags are saying horrible things about you. You don't deserve it at all. I know its hard to ignore hurtful things, but try to.
