I first discovered lj/portal when I was using my sidekick II all the time. It's the only way to update from a sidekick. very cool!

I'm sorry I didn't get your message until really late the other night. When is your next hunk of time off/at home?

I think Mordecai is still too young to be disciplined. Once he gets fixed he should calm down, and if he doesn't, a simple spray bottle full of water should do the trick, but only if he's doing naughty things like biting/sharpening claws on furniture/etc. Normal kitty stuff is fine. Just be sure to play with him as much as possible because he has tons of energy and will otherwise get bored and lonely... and you know what they say about bored and lonely cats. Or is that curious? I can't remember. :]

I think you should bring him up to meet Edweena... They both need a friend and maybe they would like each other. But you should discipline him early. Cats and dogs learn how they will act the first 6 months of there lives so if you teach him that biting is bad at an early age he will have an easier time of it. And as for scratching he just needs a post.

I doubt the cat would be able to handle a ride in a car that long, much less in a car at all. He's very ADD and very VERY crazy. He'll calm down in awhile, he's just a kitten now.
