You may not know what it is but I do. It's one of the very few really good RPS stories I've read in this fandom.
I love RPS, especially JB/GDL, and I've read a lot of it in the last two and a half years, and honestly 99% of it has been OOC fangirl-mentally-wanking, um, crap stuff - usually written after one of the big TW conventions.
Here, what you have is a sweet story with a bit of an edge, and all the main players has distinct, recognisable characters and not just label-names stuck on and an excuse to imagine 'real people' going at it.
Lovely work, now I don't know if I want you do to another of these or the next club!story *g*

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I do see a lot of really bad RPS out there. But if it makes people happy, I guess it's up to them.

I tend to have issues with GDL/JB fic since I think that it's lovely that both John and Gareth (and Eve and Burn) are perfectly happy with their partners IRL. But this... perfection!

Thank you! I have to admit my main issue with writing JB/GDL does tend to be that one's happily married and the other happily engaged, but it's not like they're reading all this, after all...:)
