My boyfriend said it was falling apart and to not worry about. He said he was going to give me my money back for it and to throw it away. Well I just woke up from a nap. Haha, oh wow, I can’t believe he was so quick to say he was going to throw it away! Glad you got it together!

Oh he would rather throw things away than return it. My boyfriend doesn’t like returning things. I would have to be the one to return it lol. I know it’s weird.

It looks OK to me (I always like black furniture), but that self-build stuff is renowned for being tricky to put together and being flimsy and wobbly. I've added metal angle-brackets to my computer desk, but it's still a bit wobbly.

Our desk is pretty solid but parts were flimsy. Overall it’s nice.

Where did you buy it? I'm guessing it wasn't Ikea, because their stuff is usually pretty sturdy and fits together well.

We got it at Walmart, my boyfriend wanted it there. I wanted to get it from Ikea. He didn’t like any of the desks there.

B and I tried to assemble four desks at once when we first moved in together.  Which wound up in multiple screaming and cursing bouts from me (at myself, not the missus) and B running from the room in tears, never to return.

Did you know there's a certain television cabinet combo at IKEA widely known as the DivorceMaker...?

I believe it could do that lol. One desk was enough for me to handle. You had 4 to put together, yes that could be frustrating.
