guess i forgot to come round and take a moment to say that i've started a blog out...in the blogosphere, i s'pose. for better or worse, an' all that.
it's been about a month and it started off a lil...shaky/scary. but it's all good - i've gotten the hang of things and i'm having a good time for the momst part.

privilege is not all about race...obviously...
class, wealth, culture contribute to the definition. additionally, privilege does not negate or change your class/wealth/culture [or race, (once again) obviously]

Most of the time people assume I'm black. But I've noticed that if people are oriented in POC groups with other backgrounds, they may assume I'm from the group they're more familiar with [ranging from Puerto Rican to Indian].
I enjoy this.
