J got a new job! He has been working full time for a consulting group since January (prior to that he was an independent contractor for the same group). But he saw an opening at a winery about 10 minutes away from where we live and applied. Within 8 days, he had interviewed and received an offer! He'll be doing IT for the winery. So I am in Cleveland this week. I flew out here Monday, arriving Monday evening. I have been working in my company's main office for the past two days, and tomorrow is our annual company meeting. I am currently sitting in Seattle's airport at a wine bar killing 2.5 hours until my flight. Having to kill time in Seattle's airport is a lot better than being stuck in Spokane, Billings, or Long Beach though.
