Been busy (what else is new). Changed a tire at work (apparently I drove over an industrial staple - the kind you seal crates and smaller pallets with). I was happy to learn that the spare in my trunk was actually a full spare the exact same size as my tires (decent tread to!), and not a donut. So, Anime Boston 2008 is over and done with. I had a blast and got to hang out with my friend Amanda, who have I haven't seen since last year at the convention. Sick in bed with a very bad sinus infection (been sick since last weekend, in bed - or the couch rather - since Monday) and will be sick into the weekend. I have no voice to speak of. Heard this on the drive home from work, listening to the BBC. The first half hour (and just before heading home), he was critically ill, the next half hour, they announced he was dead from pancreatic cancer. *cries* I was soooooo hoping to see him finish his farewell tour and, with luck, see him in person, even if I had to pay through the nose ( Read more... )

Went to the NYS Ren Faire today with Mercedes, only to find that Erika, Rob, and Galen were also there. Absolutely awesome.

Exhausted, but happy (ren faire management suckage aside). More later.
